Our client, a market leading UK firm with a strong reputation and an established presence in Asia, is currently seeking a junior PRC corporate lawyer to join its thriving corporate practice in Beijing. In this role you will have responsibility for advising on a broad range of PRC corporate work, including cross-border M&A, real estate and private equity transactions throughout China. You will enjoy a high degree of autonomy and be given client facing and matter management responsibilities from the outset, until completion of all of your projects. It is likely that you will also have responsibility for multiple projects at any given time. This is an unrivaled opportunity to join a dedicated global team of lawyers, enjoying the challenge and opportunity provided by the China market. The successful candidate will have 2 to 3 years of PQE with a top local PRC firm or international firm and solid corporate, M&A and private equity experience in the China market. You will also be qualified in the PRC or in a common law jurisdiction, be fluent in English and Mandarin and an effective team player, very well organised and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
