Leading US law firm with nearly 200 lawyers across multiple disciplines with offices in Beijing, Boston, New York and Washington D.C. The firm is recognized for its quality work as well as for their unique service model and is looking for a Partner with over 10 years transactional experience in capital markets, M&A, FDI, JV, general Corporate. The firm represents several public companies including top companies in China and this would be an opportunity for a senior associate or young partner to inherit a practice that is highly likely to grow. For more than 14 years, this firm has been representing PRC companies that are publicly traded on the US securities markets, or that are privately held and have US investors or strategic partners. They also represent US companies looking to China for investment and to access labor, supply or consumer markets and work closely with local Chinese counsel, along with counsel in the Cayman Islands and other similar jurisdictions, to provide clients with a seamless integration of legal systems and local practices. The candidate must speak Mandarin and have excellent English spoken and written skills and will be based in BJG with travel to the US and China. You should have a US JD or be US qualified with good business acumen and networking ability in China, but not necessary to bring a book of business to the firm.
