LEGAL COUNSEL - BOC AVIATION - leading Asia-based aircraft leasing company- (5yrs PQE)
BOC Aviation is the leading Asia-based aircraft leasing company with a fleet of over 180 modern aircraft in service with more than 40 airlines worldwide. In line with our Company’s expansion plan and increasing aircraft portfolio, we are now seeking suitable candidates to fill the position of Legal Counsel.
Based in Singapore and reporting to the General Counsel, the suitable candidate assumes the following key roles:
- Supports and assists General Counsel with legal documentation which include drafting, interpreting and negotiating aircraft leases; loan agreements; aircraft sales and all ancillary documentation;
- Administers closing of lease transactions, financings and the sale and purchase of aircraft, including monitoring conditions precedent and liaising with overseas counsel;
- Advises on general corporate legal matters.
The suitable candidate is expected to possess a law degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in banking or financing transactions with a law firm or bank. Candidate with experience in aircraft financing or leasing is preferred but not essential. You will need to be a conscientious and self-starter, who is capable of independently managing transactions to completion. You will need to be proficient in MS Office.
