A unique opportunity has arisen to work in Japan on a major LNG project. The role is quite unique in that your employer will be a top tier international firm but you will be seconded for a two year period to one of the firm’s major clients to act as in house counsel. One role is for a senior / experienced lawyer, there are two other roles for more junior lawyers. Experience in non contentious construction / infrastructure projects work as well as energy projects will be advantageous. No Japanese language skills are required. The role will be well suited to an Australian lawyer as the project has a Western Australian component. There may be some travel between Japan and Perth. This is an inimitable opportunity to gain experience within the in house sector whilst being employed in private practice. Generous remuneration package which will include base salary plus a housing allowance and flight allowance.
