IT/Telco In-House Lawyer - Hong Kong - 5-8 yrs PQE - 6420LM

Leading HK mobile communications provider with expanding operations seeks an additional lawyer for their in-house team. You will be involved in a broad range of commercial, IT and telco agreements. Candidates ideally will have 5-8 yrs IT/telco exp & strong negotiating skills. Fluent Cantonese necessary.

Reporting to the General Counsel, the Legal Adviser will provide legal advice to key business areas relating to IT & Telecom and general commercial/corporate. Most of the work will focus on contract drafting, negotiation and legal review on both the customer side (particularly business customer agreements and marketing review) and back of house (for instance supply, procurement, software and outsourcing agreements). He/she will also provide legal support for major project work and litigation. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills/attributes:

• A Law Degree, preferably admitted in Hong Kong with 5-8 post-qualification experience in IT and Telecom and general corporate/commercial.


• Experience as in-house lawyer preferable.


• Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal English and Chinese.


• Ability to work effectively with both legal and commercial teams.


• Ability to work under pressure, be proactive and solution-oriented.
