Our client, a leading UK firm with an established footprint in Asia, is currently seeking a mid-level Intellectual Property Associate to join the Intellectual Property (IP) group of its China Practice, based in the Shanghai office. You will have excellent academics (and a scientific background would be an advantage) and 2 or more years of PQE with a local or international firm in China with experience of contentious and non-contentious matters. The firm is also looking for someone with experience in PRC intellectual property laws and procedure, in particular the Life Sciences (including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices and consumer healthcare) and/or TMT areas. You will also be fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and fluent in English. This is an excellent opportunity to join the firm's established and growing IP practice, working with lawyers who are leaders in their field.
