Insurance Senior Associate - Brisbane -

Barry & Nilsson Lawyers is one of Brisbane's largest independent law firms currently comprising over 130 staff. We're a values based organisation and unique in that we specialise in 3 areas of legal practice - insurance, property & commercial and family law.



We're currently looking to recruit an Insurance Senior Associate or Senior Insurance Solicitor.   Our formidable insurance division is headed up by six well respected partners and comprises an additional 40 fee earners.  The team is recognised throughout the insurance claims industry for producing high quality advice and service. The department handles major insurance claims and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry.



Acting for blue chip insurer clients, in this role you will handle complex public liability, product liability and property damage claims including numerous indemnity issues.  There will be a construction slant to the work and you will also advise on coverage and risk management issues. As this is a senior level position, you will be looked upon to provide guidance to more junior practitioners in the team in accordance with our structured mentoring program.



The firm encourages continued learning and as part of this, there are weekly in-house insurance CLE sessions to ensure our lawyers are always at the forefront with any developments in the industry.
