JOB DETAILS

Our client is an entrepreneurial shipping group which seeks a dynamic and bright lawyer to work with the management team on strategic and legal matters.

As well as liaising with external lawyers, the incumbent will be expected to contribute to the development of the organisation, therefore, my client is looking for a highly commercial lawyer who may have an MBA as well as a legal qualification.

Ideally, applicants should have in the region of 8 to 10 years legal experience, some of which will be as an in-house counsel, or similar business orientated role.

Applicants with experience from the shipping or commodities sectors are particularly encouraged to apply.

Skills / Qualifications

Degree/qualification in law

Shipping, transport or commodities experience

8 - 10 years of working experience

MBA hugely beneficial

Previous in-house experience preferred

Highly commercial in outlook and business savvy
