JOB DETAILS

A position has recently arisen for a Corporate Counsel in the Regional office of a leading US Asset Management Company. The responsibilities of the role will include:

reviewing and preparing documentation for asset management related businesses and funds matters

reviewing and preparing documentation for inter-company and corporate related legal issues

conducting legal research and supporting the Regional General Counsel on ad hoc issues

assisting in the management of external counsel

Required Skills/Qualifications:

3-5 years PQE gained in a respected international firm or existing in-house position

Strong knowledge of the asset management sector in Asia and ideally experience of the registration of investment products

Excellent communication and problem solving abilities

Strong commercial acumen

Fluent level Chinese language abilities (Cantonese and Mandarin) would be preferred but are not essential.
