Are you a Capital Markets lawyer seeking better pay and better hours?
A global US firm is currently seeking one to two junior/mid level associates to join their capital markets team.
Their clientele consists of the cream of the crop of banks including Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, BoA Merrill Lynch.
At this US firm, there is no distinction between a HK, PRC or US practice – every associate will be given a good mix of financing transactions, cross border financings and debt restructurings work.
This US firm recognizes that great service does not come from overworked associates. Work life balance is recognized at this firm and measures are taken to ensure this for their associates. Associates also get a good mix of corporate work under the capital markets umbrella, as the breadth of their practice allows them to do this.
They are currently looking for a junior to mid level associate who is HK qualified and has experience in capital markets work from an international firm. Good academics from top-tier US law schools and Mandarin speakers are also desired. They are keen to take someone on for the long term and to expand their team to meet their workload.
If you are on the senior end of this PQE range, this firm has a good track record of making people up to partnership and would be happy to take good candidates on as counsel.
New York rates are paid to associates of this firm.
