With offices in Melbourne and Sydney as well as in London, J Legal is enviably placed to advise on the prospects for UK qualified lawyers who wish to relocate to Australia. We are pleased to announce that there is an insatiable demand in Sydney and Melbourne for top UK lawyers from 1yr PQE who practice either banking and finance and/or corporate law. There is also a need in Western Australia for energy lawyers. We understand that these categories are all relatively broad and encourage you to contact us for a discussion about your particular experience and whether this fits with the requirements of our clients in Australia.
You will be paid very well, work on first class deals and be exposed to the growing Asia-Pacific market as well as the domestic market. Therefore it is highly unlikely that we will be able to assist you if your experience is not from a Magic or Silver Circle firm and/or if your academics are not excellent Newly Qualified lawyers are not suitable for these roles . We are experts in the Australian market, both from a legal perspective and also in terms of advising on and assisting with relocation.
