Our client, a leading US firm with an established footprint in Asia, is currently looking for a mid-level associate to join its busy Beijing office. You will be qualified in the PRC and the US and preferably have 2 to 6 years of PQE with an international or top tier PRC firm. You will also have strong academics and a JD or LLM, and at least 3 years of solid PRC legal experience. An understanding of PRC regulatory / approval issues, as well as strong corporate transactional experience in M&A, PE, venture capital, or FDI, and Real Estate experience is required for the role. Fluency in Mandarin and the ability to draft in Chinese is also required, as is excellent spoken and written English language skills. In this role you will be given considerable responsibility and therefore you will need the ability to liaise directly with clients. An exciting career path awaits the successful candidate.
