We are currently looking for a full-time Legal Officer to join our in-house Legal Services team to support the business on a wide range of legal and compliance topics.

Day to day this role will see you undertaking tasks such as:

- Providing legal and compliance advice to all IMB branches and back office departments.
- Implementing, promoting and maintaining compliance policies, procedures and training materials in response to IMB's obligations under the AML/CTF Act, Financial Services Reform Act, the National Consumer Credit Protection Act and the Privacy Act;
- Reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts;
- Reviewing advertising material to ensure compliance with the law.

To ensure you have every opportunity to succeed in this role you will need to have:

- Completed a Degree in Law;
- Worked in a legal capacity, with at least 2 years post qualification experience;
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to demonstrate initiative and develop practical legal and compliance solutions.
