Our client is a major national firm whose construction practice has developed a reputation as being one of the leading teams in this area. Acting for a broad range of industry leaders including contractors, owners, occupiers, developers and government agencies this team works predominately in front end project work including contracts drafting, service agreements, procurement in relation to development and construction as well related back end work.
Given the structure of the practice our client is ideally looking for a mid level to senior lawyer with experience in front end construction work to join the team. Having said this our client is happy to consider lawyers from a construction litigation background who are interested in working across both areas.
Given the nature of the work involved, strong drafting skills combined with excellent communications skills are essential. A strong academic background will also be highly regarded.
