As a general commercial lawyer with at least 3 years post admission hands on experience in construction contracts, you will appreciate the challenge inherent in being closely aligned to the day to day business of the company. Not only will you need to be commercially aware, but also have excellent technical and commercial drafting skills coupled with the proven ability to work as part of an integrated and established legal team.
Your background, whether from private practice or the corporate sector, will enable you to deliver prompt, top quality advice to your internal clients and to build a reputation for reliability. Exposure to intellectual property and trade practices would be an advantage, as would some experience of corporate governance.
