Our client is respected and recognised globally as a leading commercial firm. They have a particularly strong brand in the Middle East where they have built a solid base of clients from both private and public sectors. Their ability to tap into the government funded infrastructure and property projects has been unparallel led and has seen them ride the wave of expansion that continues unabated in the UAE.
They are currently interested in talking in confidence with senior Australian property lawyers (7+) up to partner level. As Australian lawyers are often familiar with Strata / Condominium structures, they find that they transition well in terms of the kinds of deals being done in the region.
You will need exposure to high-end commercial property transactions, property development and development finance work. Ideally you will have experience in commercial property development, leasing and transactions experience, and some hotel and resort experience, though the latter is not essential.
If successful, you will receive relocation assistance (including flights and relocation costs) and a generous tax free package may be negotiated.
