Senior Legal Counsel - Transactions - LO227412/SLW

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Banking and Finance Lawyer to join a Leading Bank as Senior Legal Counsel in their Transactions Group.

This role has arisen due to growth and will be reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel & Team Leader. It offers a variety of work, with a high level of responsibility and the chance to develop your managerial skills.

In this role you will be involved in providing legal advice to business units ranging from general corporate and financial services issues to contractual and banking advice on a range of transactions from straightforward business banking matters and general transactional queries through to major and complex transactions. Alongside project management and supervising junior lawyers and paralegals.

Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 7 years relevant experience gained within another leading financial institution or respected private practice firm. Ideally you will also be a commercially minded individual with excellent organisational and people management skills.
