Join this leading financial services listed company for a rare Melbourne based Legal Counsel role. As an attentive and customer-focused lawyer, you will assist the business by providing strategic legal advice on FSR issues, handling consumer complaints at both an internal and external level and adding value to the legal function.

Using your honed legal and interpersonal skills you will advise internal clients on contracts, policy interpretation, Corporations Act and FSR compliance, assist with dispute resolution management, attend mediations and conciliations and represent the company to external dispute resolution bodies.

Enjoy taking the step from private practice and moving from a time-sheet focus to a business focused role. To be considered you will likely have at least 3 to 5 years of post-admission experience gained in disputes role possibly with an insurance or financial services focus.
