Compliance Officer (AML)
Fantastic opportunity to get involved in the growth area of AML Compliance. This newly created position has arisen within a major, international corporation which is performing well and continuing to expand. The role involves rolling out and communicating anti-money laundering / counter terrorism financing compliance programs across the business and to third party agents. You will use your strong analytical skills to identify and manage risk and to devise and carry out an overall strategy for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of this project. The role has responsibility across Australia and NZ and will work closely with the compliance team in Sydney and internationally as well as interacting with internal contacts across the business. You will have at least 3 years experience in compliance or risk-management. Exposure to AML would be of benefit but isn't a pre-requisite. Strong communication skills are required, along with the proven ability to use these skills to implement new procedures and compliance plans in a business context.
