In-House Financial Services/Funds Lawyer (2 - 5 yrs)
An outstanding opportunity has arisen with this recognised global bank for a Financial Services Lawyer with funds experience. You will work within the corporate legal team providing legal advice and support to a range of internal business areas across the Australian arm of the bank including global banking and markets and investments. The focus will be on funds management including large-scale local and international investment funds and structured retail products. You will also advise on broader, nontransactional issues including regulated financial products and custody matters. You will be a talented mid-level lawyer currently working at a recognised firm or financial services company. You will have a strong corporate or financial services/banking background, preferably with funds management experience. You will have a good understanding of relevant legislation including the Corporations Act and FSR. Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to provide legal advice in an understandable, accessible way.
