Our client, a leading Australian icon, is looking for a financial services lawyer to join their Wealth Management legal services team. This is a sensational opportunity for a bright, motivated individual who wishes to work in a leading organisation that offers exceptional opportunities for growth and development, including rotations through other practice groups.
Your role will include transaction work, as well as preparation and giving of advice for the various business units in relation to the following areas:
- managed investment products;
- investment and funds management activities;
- regulatory, risk and legal compliance issues;
- superannuation products; and
- product disclosure statements and marketing material to name a few of the main areas.
In order to be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- outstanding legal qualifications;
- have at least 2 years financial services/funds management experience gained from a major law firm or financial institution;
- exceptional communication skills;
- excellent technical skills; and
- be a strong team player who can work well under pressure
